Approach

A practical approach to civil infrastructure delivery.

CIVAR's approach is built around clarity, accountability, and value. We help clients define the right problem, select the right solution, and move forward with confidence.

Understand the Need

Listen first, then define goals, constraints, stakeholders, budget, schedule, and success.

Identify Risks Early

Find issues that can delay or increase cost, including drainage, utilities, permitting, right-of-way, and constructability.

Develop Practical Options

Evaluate alternatives with implementation in mind: fundable, permittable, constructable, and maintainable.

Communicate Clearly

Provide recommendations, decision points, schedules, budgets, and next steps clients can act on.

Deliver Results

Stay focused on moving the client closer to implementation.

Early clarity saves money

Infrastructure decisions made early can save millions later.

Delaying engineering, planning, drainage analysis, utility coordination, and right-of-way strategy can increase project cost, extend schedules, and reduce funding flexibility.

CIVAR helps clients invest early in the right level of planning and engineering so projects can move faster, avoid unnecessary redesign, and make better use of public and private dollars.

Insights

Practical thinking for infrastructure leaders.

CIVAR shares insights on civil engineering, project delivery, public infrastructure, drainage, roadway improvements, funding strategy, and capital program management.
